OT seeks to assist seniors in brushing up on skills that may have lain dormant for decades, or acquiring additional skills. As such, we have begun to teach workshops in computer literacy, arts and crafts, the quest to return to school, and many others. Needless to say, OT is a very young nonprofit, and as such fund-raises in order to offer these workshops to seniors as inexpensively as possible.
As such, Our Time 21st Century Seniors, Inc. board member Patricia Ratliff arranged and organized a wine tasting event at the Symposium Wines in Midtown Atlanta on Sunday, October 16. Board members, staff and friends were treated to Wines from South Africa, Germany and Spain, accompanied by a varied smorgasbord of tasty delights, courtesy of Ms. Ratliff and Symposium Wines. The event was so successful that the organization intends to have them quarterly. Raffled off was an iPod, as well as two door prizes. Bravo, Patricia Ratliff and all who attended, and donated to this important undertaking.
